Are Bananas Good?
Bananas are a great source of potassium, vitamin B6 and C. Some vets even recommended as alternative to salty treats due to all of his benefits. This fruit high in fiver provides help to your pup if they are having gastrointestinal problems, and magnesium to promote bone growth, it also helps with produce proteins and absorb vitamins. Like most fruits you might encounter its important to note that it should be feed in moderation specially if it has sugar.
Vitamin B6
B6 is considered one of the most important vitamins by vets and nutrition experts as it helps with the production of glucose and red blood cells, as well as regulating hormones, the immune system and lastly the nervous system.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C provides a powerful antioxidant, and support the immune system and it can combat swelling in the bod.
Potassium
Potassium is an electrolyte that aids in the heart, nerves and muscles of your pup. Very important mineral specially if your pup seems to be tired all the time.
Can Dogs Eat Banana Peels?
Yes and no, while peels are not toxic they are hard to digest and may cause a blockage. Even without the peal, eating too many bananas, can upset their stomach.
How to Serve Banana To Your Dog?
Before putting Banana in the table make sure to consult with your local vet and see if he is allergic and how your pup should eat it and how much of it.
Peel the Banana and remove the pits if possible prior to giving it to your pup. We recommend to smash it.
