“It will be celebrated with pomp and parade, bonfires and illuminations from one end of this continent to the other.” - John Adams

Not a lot has changed since the 1800s. Well, maybe the bonfires have turned into fireworks that make a fighter jet sound like a regular washing machine. But you know what I mean.

For this Fourth of July, we wanted to keep it light, so here are some images of dogs being Murican’. Remember, if your dog is easily startled by loud noises and flashes characteristic of the day, make sure to leave all your doors and windows closed, that they have something to chew on, and try to tire them out earlier in the day so they are more relaxed when the light show begins.

Maybe even throw on a little Mozart on the speakers so the bangs aren’t as loud.
